Teaching Values

“The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires” – William A Ward

I teach people, not poses

I hold a space for self reflection as opposed to the constant seeking of perfection

I recognize your individuality and honor your unique expression of the practice

I believe that practice is about making permanent, not perfect

I believe that our bodies are our homes, our playgrounds and our classrooms and that learning must be fun!

I recognize that you are doing your best and I commit to doing and being my best

I commit to personal ongoing study and practice, so that I may be in service to you on the path to health, healing and happiness

I offer myself authentically in every way – what you see is what you get – on the mat and in the world

I encourage you to awaken to your own intuitive wisdom and to take ownership of your practice, your health and healing

I will not walk the path for you but will gladly accompany you along the way!

“Rid your body of its impurities, let your speech be true and sweet, feel friendship for the world, and with humility seek wealth and knowledge.” -TKS. Krishnamacharya
